An Open letter from the Sheboygan Society of Scale Model Railroad Engineers: Due to circumstances beyond our control, we find it necessary to vacate the Railroad Lodge and sell the building. This means dismantling the large permanent layout that has occupied the building for more than 15 years. We would like to host one last operating session for our friends and neighbors in railroading. We cordially invite you to come on Saturday, April 4th starting at 9:00AM and stay as long as you like. Feel free to bring anything you wish to run, along with cameras, and a Digitrax throttle if you have one. We have eight throttles, but there may be a need for more. After our Open House for the general public on April 18-19, the dismantling will begin. We expect to salvage as much as we can. It may show up reincarnated at a new location sometime in the future. Possibilities are being looked into. We have treasured your friendship over the years.
