Welcome!

The Plymouth Model Railroad Society, located in Plymouth, WI is an organization of model railroad enthusiasts dedicated to promoting the hobby of model railroading and railroading in general through education, research and hands-on projects. We are currently in the process of building a multi-level, room sized, HO scale layout.  

Our members enjoy being involved in all aspects of railroading, from scale models to real trains.  

Membership is always open and everyone is welcome. N-Scale to G-Scale, or no scale at all. Beginner or expert, it doesn't matter. We have members that fit all these descriptions (and more).  

Visitors are welcome anytime!  Are you just getting started in model railroading? Stop in. We enjoy helping anyone who is interested learning. You can even do some shopping at the Mullet River & Southern Model Railroad Hobby Shop located in the same basement as our layout. 

The club is also involved in many other railroad activities beyond our layout such as:

• Owning a real, full size, Plymouth switch engine (on display in Plymouth, WI)
  
• Operating a large plywood "parade train" which sees duty in local parades
  
• Volunteering help for real railroad functions such as the 2007 Santa Train
• Touring home layouts
  
• Model Railroading Clinics
  
• And Much More.....

• Business Meetings:  Held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm.  Usually at the club house and occasionally at a members house.
  
  
• Work Nights:  Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 to 9:00 pm.  Mondays are usually the big work nights, with Wednesdays being more of a bull session night. Saturday morning work sessions are often held too. Watch your email for notices.
  
  
• Operating Sessions:   We've had a few a "Fun Run" operating sessions in the past, and Fun Run #3 is now in the planning stages.  The increase in mainline and passing sidings adds a lot of possibilites.  An email notice will be send to club members when the next session is ready.
  
  
• Society Member Pages: Show off your layout, photos or personal webpages. Each member can have a page to display railroad related goodies such as layout pictures and information, model or prototype photos, modeling how-to info etc. You can create it yourself or I can do it for you.
